Detty December Fest
Building Africa’s Largest Cultural Stage for the Season of Return
Overview
Detty December Fest 2025 was a first-of-its-kind, month-long cultural festival held from 7–30 December in Lagos, conceived and produced by Livespot360. Built from the ground up at Ilubirin Mixed‑Use Development, the festival transformed an undeveloped site into a purpose-built entertainment destination celebrating music, performance, and contemporary culture during Lagos’s globally recognised Detty December season. The project set a new benchmark for live event production in Africa.
The Idea
December in Lagos has become a global cultural moment driven by diaspora return, music tourism, and large-scale entertainment.
